Good drawing.
Always draw lines from top to bottom, and from left-right(right-left for left-handed).
Draw circle and other simple geometric figures to train your lines. You should hold the pen more firmly.
Draw some simple skeleton sketches so you can have an anatomy basis before starting real-drawing, such as hair and facial details. The hair over the head should make more volume. The head format is a little twisted.
Finally, use picture references as much as possible, and keep an eye on human anatomy( no using that to keep an eye on the girls, tho).

Allow me to explain, because my deadline has been moved quite far, I've planned to add more to the game and since I haven't done much work on it after this, the percent of work to completed work is less :P
